Then I bought a used Maschine Mk3 (wow!, a whole thread is needed just for that), and got access to Komplete Select and a whole world of NKS software, again all compatible with Logic. I use Logic Pro X and the core sounds are incredible, but when I added an Arturia KeyLab 61 mkii (also open box big discount), it took things to another level with the basic Analog Lab suite and the ability to use the controller for just playing, for recording, etc. So I jumped into the whole soft-synth VST thing and I am blown away. Those sales gave me a lot of funds to dive into software and midi - where dollars go a long, long way! (I didn't appreciate that at the start of the journey - despite some of you pointing that out.) Mind you, I bought all but one used, steeply discounted, and eventually sold the Prophet, Moog, and OP-1.
